When Skye was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma, I thought there was no hope. It's always been me, my son who is not well, our 15-year-old turtle, a beagle we rescued last year and of course, our dear Skye. Money will come but does not really stay that long. It's really very hard. Skye, our yellow lab, has been with us since she was 3 months old. She is now 6 years old. Every time we walk in our area, kids will wait for her just to say hi to her.
When she first went to Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners here in Queens, NY, to see Dr Joshua Lachowicz, he told me about Frankie's Friends. When I got approved for help, I was so happy... grateful... relieved! I think I have read that letter a million times, just to make sure I read it right. Prayers really do get answered. I never thought people like you still exist in this world. Thank you... Thank you... Thank you very much, from the bottom of our hearts.
