Penelope looks like a new dog and is feeling fantastic!

Frankie’s Friends Hope Fund helped Penelope with lifesaving emergency surgery for a splenectomy, at BluePearl in Monterey CA. This is a note from Penelope’s family.

“Penelope is doing extremely well and has recovered great. She was going to work with me daily due to being on light duty, and I truly believe that helped her recover faster as I had to walk her every few hours get her out to stretch etc.

She is getting around great, and her whole energy level is as a puppy’s would be. It is so awesome to see her go out for long walks and run and play again. Still taking it easy as her incision is still a little fresh but almost healed if that makes sense. I will include some pictures of Penelope here. My does she look like a new dog. The weight is off and she is feeling fantastic. Penelope and I will forever be grateful to Frankie’s Friends for your help during our time of need. I think it’s important to let people know how you helped us so others can maybe also try helping in others times of need.”
