Lenny is doing so very well! He is spry and happy and very strongly interested in his dog’s life. I owe all of this to Frankie’s friends.

On a fixed income, I was not able to cover the care of his cancer treatment. Frankie’s Friends made it possible for Lenny to get the care he needed. He had two surgeries back to back in September and the two surgeries saved his life.  He had a renal tumor that was seven pounds and 12 “ long that was removed before it ruptured. After he recovered from the first procedure, he had anal gland surgery to remove cancer.

Since that time, his brother has been diagnosed with the same type of cancer and underwent treatment.  It must be genetic.  Lenny and his brother, Zeek, celebrated their 12th birthday this May.
