Frankie’s Friends helped Leo from Gig Harbor WA to get surgery to repair a fracture. This is an update from his family.

“Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts! Leo has been such a blessing to our home. Weeks after our daughter had to put her beloved cat down from a terrible auto immune anemia, Leo came into her life. Leo started out as a foster baby that we agreed to take on. He soon became so much more. He and our daughter were so attached to each other that he got depressed when he went back to the rescue! We decided as a family that he needed to be adopted into our family. Our children are very involved in Cat 4-H and our kitties are treated as VIP members of the family. Leo is one of 5 kitties we have rescued and adopted over the past few year. When Leo and his kitty brother Pippen were playing on the couch, Leo fell off and fractured his hip. We took him to the vet and got the devastating news that the much needed surgery was well beyond our means at this time. Your generous donation helped Leo to have his surgery and my entire family thanks you for this. He will be pampered and spoiled during his recovery time and loved every moment of every day. I honestly don’t have enough words the let you know how much I appreciate the help. To look at your child and have to tell them you cant afford the surgery but you will do everything in your power to make it happen is not something I ever want to do again.
