Frankie’s Friends National Fund helped Tyson receive the surgery he needed for a hernia. This is an update from Tyson’s family.
UPDATE!
I just wanted to say thank you so much to Frankie's Friends for their generous donation to helping my little guy Tyson get the surgery he needed to repair his perineal hernia. Tyson means so much to us he is not just a dog to us but part of our family. It is with thanks to this wonderful organization that I was able to move forth and get Tyson the medical attention he needed. I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am for people like you to be able to assist many animals in need whose families cant simply do it on their own. I am so grateful for you guys. Here are some pics of Tyson after surgery.
“It means a lot to me and my 2 daughters aged 12 and 8, for the help with the cost of our beloved Tyson. Tyson is just not a dog to us - Tyson is part of our family. He is my daughter’s best friend and my lovely son. Tyson brings such joy to us every single day. and is what makes our family complete. When my girls found out he needed surgery they began to cry because they know mom can not afford such an expensive procedure. I got desperate not knowing how i would be able to help Tyson and began asking friends for suggestions. A good friend of mine suggested i look into Frankie’s Friends. The surgery Tyson needs is very important and if left untreated he can die, at least thats my understanding from the vet. His hernia was caused by not being neutered. As a pet mom I’m devastated because all my girls cry wondering what will happen if Tyson doesn’t get this surgery done. I am heart broken as a pet mom. Tyson was a gift to us 7 years ago and the person who gave us Tyson did not want him. I knew what the expenses would be but for the past 7 years we took such good care of Tyson. He is so spoiled and such a happy dog with us. I’m am beyond grateful and a heavy sadness in my heart is lifted knowing that I am able to get him the surgery .”
