Frankie’s Friends helped Kya receive emergency surgery for a fracture repair. This is a note from Kya’s family.

I really want to say thank you to whom ever approved this because I have been going insane calling so many different veterinarians, or places that help with grants. The major thing is I love this dog she’s my support. I lost my mom in December due to cancer. I have been going through a lot myself and then this poor dog broke her leg. I don’t ever keep her in the cage unless I have to leave. I had to go to a doctors appointment and she tried to get out of her cage and I could just feel it in my heart that something was wrong, but it was two hours away, I didn’t have a car because I’m half paralyzed. I can’t drive., when I got home, I could hear her crying in the parking lot. I am mediately ran to her. Let her out she’s screaming, crying she had to have been in there at least five hours., I feel like this is all my fault but I’m trying to do the best that I can to save her. I need her , she is the only thing have in this world she loves me so much and she’s my baby.

She’s a really happy dog. She takes care of me and I take care of her. She doesn’t leave my side. She is a very outgoing dog, and it breaks my heart to see her like this. She deserves a whole life. She’s only six months old. She’s a big fat puppy she eats well. With everything going on in my life this would be the best gift anybody could give to us. Please keep my dog alive and healthy.

Giving the gift of a donation, we are grateful. This dog has so much life in her and she’s the best dog you could ever have, she is a great support dog. She’s a great protector she’s a lover. I’m thankful for all you have done. I’m so grateful I know Kya is waiting to be saved ace go back to being the active dog she normally is. Thank you for this blessing.
