Frankie’s Friends helped Yin receive life-saving surgery for a prolapsed uterus.
“Where do I begin? Yin is probably the sweetest dog I have ever met (don”t tell my other two I said that). I know every dog mom probably says that, but really. I have met quite a few dogs in my day and none have ever been just as kind and gently as my Yin. She is not only my best friend but the best friend and partner in crime and life to my dog Bubba. They are inseparable. She is also so protective of the family she loves so dearly. She has saved my life from other dogs, she has saved my dog’s life, and she has given me reasons to live since the moment I adopted her.
This is all despite her being a rescue. She was mistreated and though some could argue that gives her reason to be angry and hostile, she has never so much as barked at me out of malice. She is big and soft and has a happy, angelic face that draws everyone in to pet her.
I wanted you to know just a little bit about the dog you’re saving. You are a hero and so is she. I have been so distracted with the turmoil my life has become for the past year that Yin’s happiness and well-being had to, heartbreakingly, take a back seat. Her death would already be a tragedy, but I just can’t let her go now knowing I haven’t given her my all for too long. I won’t say good bye without being sure she had the quality of life she more than deserves.
In conclusion, Thank You. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Your generosity will live forever in my heart and the hearts of my family and friends whose lives are also brightened daily by her angelic presence. Thanks to you, my daughter, who we welcomed in August, will get to meet my baby Yin. She will get to have a puffy, white hero to watch over her closely. If you are a believer, God bless you, Amen.”
