Frankie’s Friends helped Opal receive an urgently needed surgery so she can walk again without pain.
“I finally understand what it feels like to not be able to afford the care your pet needs. I can’t do this alone. I am very grateful for any support (including prayers) to ensure that Opal receives the best possible care and has a chance to live a happy and healthy life. Anything, no matter how small, will make a difference.
I’m sure a lot of owners say this, but Opal is not a dog. I swear she is my baby soul mate, we protect each other and I would fight every battle to ensure that she is loved, healthy, happy, and (okay she’s a little chunky which we’re working on!) always hard with those puppy eyes. lol.
She is my purpose. If you knew her, you would know that she is extremely protective over me due to a recent event of leaving a 7 year dv relationship but now it’s my turn to protect her. Thank you so much for even reading this or considering my reason for living.”
Opal‘s surgery went well and she is now home and on the mend. Her family sent a heartfelt thank you note along with this adorable photo and video of her getting last minute snuggles before surgery.
