Frankie’s Friends’ Crucial Care Fund helped Sebastian James receive life-saving foreign body surgery.

If I receive these funds, I would like to thank the donors because Sebastian-James (Bash)means so much to me. I call him my canine child. And my mom calls him her grandson. My brother’s dog is his cousin.Bash is five months old and I adopted him when he was eight weeks old at an adoption event for a rescue organization. I’m still in touch with his foster mom.
It was after the death of my lab, Ollie; who died of lymphoma and was also my ESA. I know I can’t replace my lab, but my heart still had space left to love another dog. I’m giving all that love to Bash! I named him Bash because that was Oliver’s middle name. By coincidence Olivers’ birthday was Feb 13th and Bash was adopted Feb 14th!
If you look closely you can see he has a heart shaped print on his nose and another under his left hand! That makes him extra adorable, cuddly, and loving, especially since I adopted him on Valentines Day.
Bash has brought me so much joy and healing! Coming home to him is the best feeling ever. He is my cuddly little Velcro Valentine and he makes me laugh every day. I wish I could attach more pictures and videos of all his puppy antics! I send my family”pup-dates” every week! I’ll be happy to send you guys videos of all his puppy shenanigans if you want them.
I love to take care of him and hold him in my arms. He likes to sit in my lap and listen to music. Last Dance, by Donna Summer is his favorite. He always listens to that song right before bed. He has a crate, but he is allowed to sleep on the sofa or with me. It’s his house, I just live in it!
The day he picked me was love at first sight! I put my hands through his crate and he came right up to me. I picked him up and he sighed and fell asleep in my arms like he knew he was safe with me.It was so blissful, puppy heaven! Compared to his chubby brothers he was definitely the runt!
Side note, he also likes to be called Bashy-Boy, Bashy-Boo, Puppy-Pup and Bash-baby! His favorite homemade treat is steamed sweet potato cubes that are frozen and taste like ice cream. (Try it, it’s so good!) Lamb Chop (Lammie) is his favorite stuffy. He got it as a gift from Gramma his first day home.
His favorite shows are Vintage Sesame Street and Lamb Chop’s Play Along. (Okay, I watch them too). It’s good for my stress. Puppy cuddles when I watch TV are the best! Morning cuddles when he wakes up and stretches are the sweetest, best part of my day!
He is also super smart and learned wait and sit at just eight weeks old! If you ask him for a kiss he will touch his nose to your face, but sometimes he just licks you. He will also hug you when he first meets you by leaning over your shoulder and resting his head all cozy and sweet!
He’s kind of like a living stuffed animal who makes the worst and most stressful days all better just by looking at me. That is just the best feeling and so comforting!
I feel like I’ve had him forever. I can’t imagine my life without him. He loves me unconditionally. And I can’t see a life without him. He is my baby,so I can’t let him down as his mom! We promise to pay it forward when things get better for us.
