Frankie’s Friends helped Ella receive mass removal surgery.

Receiving assistance from Frankie’s Friends would mean more to my family and I than words can fully express. Ella is not just our dog she is family and she is one of the best things in our lifes.

We actually rescued Ella while I was stationed in New Mexico, where there is such a heartbreaking overpopulation problem. I brought her home when she was only 10 weeks old, and from that moment on she’s been there. At just 3 months old, she survived a terrible case of parvo. This past November, she also underwent an emergency life-saving pyometra surgery at the very last moment. Through every hardship, she has shown nothing but strength, love, and resilience.

Growing up, I never had the privilege of having a dog of my own. My mother worked incredibly hard as a single mom, and while she gave us everything she could, having a pet was never something we were able to do. One of the first things I was excited to do once I was on my own was finally give a dog a loving home.

She is deeply loved. To receive help for her care now would truly mean the world to us. It would not only ease an overwhelming burden, but it would remind us that compassion and kindness still exist in this world.

We firmly believe in paying kindness forward whenever you are able. A single act of kindness can change someone’s whole life and create a ripple effect far beyond what anyone can see. Your help would never be forgotten, and when life allows, I fully intend to pass that same kindness on to others in need.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering Ella and for all that you do to help families keep fighting for the animals they love.
