Frankie’s Friends helped Zeus receive life-saving foreign body surgery.

Zeus is so much more than a dog to us — he is family, our protector, our shadow, and one of the biggest pieces of our home. He has been by our side through life’s hardest and happiest moments, offering unconditional love, comfort, and loyalty every single day.

Recently, our world was turned upside down when Zeus became suddenly ill. After veterinary evaluation and imaging, we learned he likely has foreign objects in his stomach and may require urgent medical treatment/surgery. While we are incredibly thankful his bloodwork has remained stable, the emotional and financial weight of navigating emergency veterinary care has been overwhelming.

Zeus has always been the goofy, loving soul in our family. He loves being close to us, protecting his people, and despite his anxiety, he has the biggest heart. Watching him uncomfortable, in pain, and not himself has been heartbreaking. We would do absolutely anything for him, and we are trying our hardest to give him every chance possible to heal and come back home healthy.

We are humbly asking for assistance through Frankie’s Friends to help offset Zeus’s medical expenses during this incredibly difficult time. This support would mean more than we can put into words — not only financially, but emotionally — knowing we have help fighting for more time and more memories with a dog who means everything to us.

Zeus is deeply loved, and we are not ready to imagine life without him. Thank you for considering his story and for helping families like ours when beloved pets need it most.
