Frankie’s Friends helped Tommy receive an urgently needed enucleation.

I am so so grateful and thankful for what you do for peoples that can not afford to pay for our furry family members, that more times than not, we are closer to them than our “real” family members.

I took in Tommy (15 lbs. poodle-mix neutered male) that was left behind after the “caretaker”/owner did not want him anymore because he would not be a “good” guard dog for the new house they just bought. They had him since he was a puppy. He is now 11-12 years old. I can not even fathom of leaving such a precious life. It wasn’t that could not afford to care/keep him they just wanted a bigger “scary” looking dog. Poor little boy he still waited for the people to come back. I was able to lure him to my yard at a time that was the lowest point in my life. I did not care if I saw another day however upon taking him in...I LOVE HIM SOOO MUCH!!! Sweetest little guy.

Circa 3 weeks ago, i noticed he was pawing at his left eye. I could not afford the surgery Tommy needed.

I want to thank you with all my heart for doing what you do. It can be very disappointing and frustrating to know and see how common it is for peoples to turn their back on someone who spent most of his life with. Sometimes those with the biggest heart do not have the “biggest” bank account. If only those would experience what it is to be loved by an entity that does not want anything in return but to spend time with you and truly love. Thank you again Frankie’s Friends for existing in this very often cruel and very uncaring world. THANK YOU!!!!!!
