Frankie’s Friends helped Indy receive limb surgery so she can live pain free.
“There are truly no words big enough to express what assistance from Frankie’s Friends would mean to our family. Finding out that Indy needs knee surgery has been absolutely devastating both emotionally and financially. Her right knee is full torn, causing her daily pain, and during the process we also learned that her left knee is luxating and will eventually need surgery as well. We are trying to make the best decision possible for her future and may need to do both surgeries together so she can have the chance to heal fully and live comfortably again.
We rescued Indy over seven years ago, but the truth is she rescued us too. She is not “just a dog” to us. She is our daughter, our best friend, and the heart of our home. She has been by our side through some of life’s hardest moments, offering unconditional love, comfort, and loyalty every single day. Watching her struggle to stand up, walk, go to the bathroom or move without pain has been absolutely heartbreaking. There is nothing harder than looking into the eyes of someone you love so deeply and feeling powerless to help them.
Like so many families, we never imagined facing a situation where the cost of lifesaving medical care would feel impossible. We would do anything for Indy because she has given us everything: love, joy, companionship, and a kind of comfort that cannot be measured.
