Frankie’s Friends helped Earl Gray receive entropion surgery.

I am a new pet owner and wanted to give a chance to this beautifully sweet and loving cat from a friend whose living conditions no longer allowed for proper care. In taking our cat Earl Grey in, who is a British Shorthair— hence why we named him after the best tea ever that perfectly describes his beautiful coat— we wanted him a a support and comfort friend for our special needs son who is battling a rare genetic disease that is a disease effecting only one in one million world wide. A few months ago, our son underwent a surgery to remove his gtube that he has relied on for the past 11 years for food and medications. He is currently in recovery and relies heavily on Grey and other things to get him through the day. So far, we couldn’t ask for a better pet and friend for our son.
However, Grey came into our home perfectly healthy and happy, and then developed inverted eye lids; a disease that effects his breed often, and due to this, he has also developed corneal ulcers and sequestrums in both eyes, causing both eyes to have dying tissues that is only getting worse by the day due to severe pain, discomfort, and trauma. Since then, Grey has been suffering terribly everyday and has not been able live a normal pet life.
With you unmatched generousity and compassion, our family and son who needs Grey just as much as Grey needs him, can be a comfort and a much needed friend for one another in this big beautiful world full of special people such as our son, Grey, and kind souls such as yourselves. Our hope is that Grey can get the help he is needing, and go on to live a long and happy life with both of his eyes fully healed and without going blind. At just one years old this month, your generousity can significantly make an impact in his and our lives, and give him a chance of living the beautiful life he has ahead of him.
We pray this message finds you in a state of good health and faith, and we thank you for your time and consideration. 🙏🏼
