“Ginger was the soul mate of my very best friend, Candace Zierdt. She was a magnificent standard poodle who soothed law students in Candace’s office for many years and made friends wherever she went. I love to tell the story of how she quite literally stopped traffic when I took her for a walk around my neighborhood when my husband and I were poodle-sitting for her while Candace was traveling. She loved her little sister Scarlett (although I don’t think she wanted us to know how much), and she had a short-lived-but-sweet romance with my vizsla boy Olie.
