Frankie’s Friends helped Dolly receive surgery to remove a mammary tumor.
“I just wanna thank anyone that’s donated to this and tell you a little about my girl although she’s older she’s full of spunk and energy. She spent most of her life in a cage. I was with a rescue group and rescued nine Schnauzers from a backyard breeder it took me nine months to get all the dogs out from this elderly woman. These dogs were unprotected out in the element in cages without proper cover. Dolly was the second to the last dog out, she needed more rehab and time. Keeping her as my own dog. She was emaciated and terrified of everything. I included a picture of her the day that I rescue her so you could see the before in the after the reason I’m bringing this up is because I’m dealing with serious medical issues she and my other dog or my little family I’m a widower and I have no children and these are my family. These girls mean the world to me and Dolly loves her walk. She never had walks before so now we go about five times a day. She gets excited and even though she’s 12 she’ll run around after a bath, get silly nip it my fingers she brings me so much joy and comfort. She loves to lay on the pillow above my head where I lay on the couch when my feet are hurting, and it brings me much relief to have the companionship and though I know she’s an older dog and so is my other one I just want more time with my little family. Dolly means the world to me and after all she’s been through she deserves a second chance and you may have just done that for her by helping save her life to get the cancer removed. I’m incredibly grateful and wish I could send a hug out to all of you God bless you so much.”
